The movie has been out for a week now.  Our results are in.

None of our respondents stayed up and saw it at the midnight

screening. Our store is just down the hall at a mall, and people

had started lining up around 8:00pm, not a lot, but some, and

they came with blankets. We have done it twice, and it does add an element of excitement. We saw Deathly Hallows first thing in the morning (around 9am). I’d say 90% of the viewers were over 30, and 50% were over 50.

I just read Taro and the Magic Pencil. My first impression: Fun, lighthearted. My last impression: cute, fun, with a little potty humor thrown in.

Synopsis:

The results are in, I think this was a bit of a tough choice.

Although it might be fun to visit the characters, there’s

usually some major things to avoid in a movie world,

especially if we are just us from this reality, I mean, we

VIZ MEDIA ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER HAIKASORU IMPRINT RELEASES

The Hard Science Fiction THE OUROBOROS WAVE And Fantasy DRAGON SWORD AND WIND CHILD Are Perfect for Holiday Gifting

San Francisco, CA, November 16, 2010 – VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), one of the entertainment industry’s most innovative and comprehensive publishing, animation and licensing companies, releases today a pair of riveting novels under its Haikasoru imprint– the philosophical hard science fiction title THE OUROBOROS WAVE by Jyouji Hayashi, and the paperback edition of the hit heroic fantasy DRAGON SWORD AND WIND CHILD by Noriko Ogiwara.

As you may have heard, FUNimation Entertainment, with the help of New York City-based distribution company GKIDS, has submitted the animated sci-fi action film SUMMER WARS for consideration in the category of Animated Feature Film by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
