News provied by our friends ar GeekChikDaily
The Nintendo 3DS packs 3D you only need eyeballs to see
Glasses are a key part of some people’s identity. Think of Clark Kent. Or Star Trek’s Geordi La Forge. Lewis Skolnick.
But most of us don’t want to wear glasses, which is why the new Nintendo 3DS is so revolutionary. The 3DS gives you a 3D gaming experience…no glasses required. Available for sale this Sunday, Nintendo’s latest hand-held gaming system creates the spectacle-free spectacle by beaming different images to each of your eyeballs. The downside: to make the 3D work, you have to keep your head positioned in a certain sweet spot so the images hit your eyes correctly. Although when you think about it, that’s not really a big deal—video games are all about laying around and not moving anyway.

Durarara!!: Part 2
A pitch-black headless motorcyclist who roams the city!? High-tension suspense and action are taking over Tokyo’s Ikebukuro District! Warped romances and friendships – and plenty of hidden secrets lie behind these big city walls! A hilariously unusual juvenile urban fantasy from the mighty creative staff behind Baccano! Durarara!! the animated TV series is based on the eponymous hit novel by RYOHGO NARITA, who also penned the award-winning novel series-turned anime series Baccano! With an “off-the-wall” style of storytelling and pacing, Mr. Narita represents a new breed of unconventional authors on the rise and drawing accolades from teen readers and critics alike within Japan’s highly competitve light-novel industry. The Durarara!! series has shocked readers with its unique, quirky and wildly unpredictable characters and intriguingly interwoven plots that form an out-of-this-world story.
PRE-ORDER PRICE STILL AVAILABLE UNTIL MARCH 29, 2011!

METROPOLIS RECONSTRUCTED & RESTORED
A film by Fritz Lang
It is the future, and humans are divided into two groups: the thinkers, who make plans (but don’t know how anything works), and the workers, who achieve goals (but don’t have the vision). Completely separate, neither group is complete, but together they make a whole. One man from the “thinkers” dares visit the underground where the workers toil, and is astonished by what he sees…
