Rurouni KenshinDue Out in 2012

Takeru Sato will play Kenshin Himura, the samurai hero of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s popular Rurouni Kenshin manga (published here by Viz Media) in a live-action adaptation being produced by Warner Japan. Himura is a feared assassin who decides to spend the rest of his life as a wandering samurai who roams the countryside and protects the weak.  The Rurouni Kenshin manga, which includes 28 volumes, was one of the first titles that Viz Media consolidated for re-release.  The entire series was published in 9 Vizbig volumes that were released from 2008-2010.

Keith SilversteinOMAHA, NE – June 29, 2011 Anime NebrasKon is pleased to announce two new guests for 2011.  Keith Silverstein and Chris Sabat are officially confirmed as guest for Anime NebrasKon.

 

Keith Silverstein is a voice actor known for his work in anime and video games. In the video game world, Keith has worked on titles like “Transformers: War for Cybertron”, “Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty”, “Dynasty Warriors 7” and “World of Warcraft,” as well as his recurring roles as Zasalamel  in the “Soul Calibur” series, Hunk in the “Resident Evil “games, and Vector, The Crocodile in the “Sonic, The Hedgehog” series.  Keith is probably best known for his portrayal of Kimimaro on “Naruto.”  Current projects Keith is working on include “Bleach”, “Gundam Unicorn” and a number of secret, high profile video games yet to be announced.
