Human cloning is not only possible, but practiced in the world of Afterschool Charisma. The live-action Ouran High School Host Club television series and film will receive a mobile phone drama spinoff. The spinoff, titled Ouran High School Host Club ~Haruhi no Happy Birthday Daisakusen~, will feature an original story written by the manga’s creator Bisco Hatori.

The four-episode drama will begin its broadcast on January 6. Haruna Kawaguchi (Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Moshidora) will reprise her role as Haruhi Fujioka. Each episode will be five minutes long. The drama will revolve around the host club members becoming flustered upon learning that it is Haruhi’s birthday. Through their misunderstandings about celebrating her birthday, the members make Haruhi angry. The drama will be available on au mobile phones and through the Lismo Drama website.
