Poll Results for St. Patrick’s Day

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s Wednesday so that means time for poll results and a new poll question. Now if you look at the responses to the St. Patrick’s day poll,  Scrooge might come to mind. The negatives added up equal 63%.  An overwhelming side. I’d agree if people insist on pinching those who don’t wear green. Would St. Patrick really go for that? Speaking of Saints, did you know there are Japanese saints? St. Paul Miki is the one I’m most familiar with.

But I digress, Here’s the poll result you are waiting for:

Poll Question: How will you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

Poll Result for Which Side You’re On.

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Wednesday is poll day. The new poll is up. It’s March, so,

of course it’s a St. Patrick’s day poll. We are trying something

new, you can pick up to 3 answers at one time.

As for the last poll about sides, I’ve gotten a lot of suggestions

for other possible answers, so don’t be suprised if you see that

one crop up again.

I have no idea of how to analyze what’s going on with our readers

by these poll results. What do you think?

anime review site

Hello Everyone. It’s is winter where we are, and it’s cold. We have have

had lots of snow. That’s where this week’s poll idea came from. The

family was playing table top games while we were snowed in. Everyone

has their own idea of how to play the games. I don’t know if any works

better or not, but it’s still interesting. As for me, I never want to take a

zero on the top section bonus, but sometimes you just loose out.

Here’s your results, I don’t think there is any surprises this week.

Dark Characters Fan Poll

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

anime review siteThe results are in for the dark characters. I realized today that

I left off a choice for not being a fan of dark characters. With

the current selection of books, TV and movies, I’d think it would

be tough not to appreciate any of the types as the characters to

emphasize with. Of course, with Monsters Inc, Harry Potter and Twilight,

it’s all main stream. In manga and anime, I think the selection is even

greater, adding an interesting twist to story telling. The list would be

nearly endless.

Here’s the results:

Tomato Poll Results

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

anime and manga reviewsWell, the results are in for the tomato poll, I hadn’t expected such a

decisive winner, 58%! I guess especially because I voted the other

way. I wonder if they have had a tomato flavored Kit Kat bar?

This week’s new poll leans towards the dark side. Over the last

several years there seems to have been a trend to portray traditionally

“bad” characters in a positive light, or at least as the main character.

Visit the poll on the right side bar.

Here’s the tomato results:

Poll Question: Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?

Fruit Poll Results

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

anime review site

The fruit poll results are in.  There was a definite winner, beating the

nearest competitor by 10%. I know it is popular in our house. It is an

interesting fruit, an although we generally think only about one kind,

there are over 1,000 different kinds in the world.

A fruit poll brings to mind another fruit question to be explored, so that is

going to be our next poll…Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?

Here are the results for the fruit poll for the week of Jan. 12, 2011.

Pokemon Poll Results

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

anime review siteWednesday is here, time for the changing of the polls.

Pokemon is well known, world wide. At the mall I work

at, there is a game store, and Pokemon is huge. Did you

know there are national tournaments? Here’s a related

article: Team Rocket invades the Pokemon nationa

l tournament 2010.

The new poll for 1-12-11 is all about fruit. I got the

idea from looking at a Bleach manga (Ichigo). Big

stretch, I know.

Japanese Kit Kat bars Poll Results

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011

anime review site pollThank you to all who participated in this week’s poll. The

subject was the unusual flavors available in Kit Kat bars

in Japan. Here’s a link to a related article: News for Entertainment:

Kit Kat Bars are different in Japan.  Join us for the next poll on

Pokemon. I’ve found when someone who wanders into the Anime store where I work that doesn’t know what is it, at least they recognize Pokemon or Speed Racer. Pokemon videos and books are still popular.

Here’s the results:

New’s Year’s Poll Question

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

anime reveiw site

A fresh start for 2011

Hello everyone. Here’s the poll results for the last poll

of the year 2010. It’s been a great year and the site has

been doing great. Thank You so much to our readers

and writers!

The new poll inspiration comes from a recent article

here at Animeradius about all the different flavors of

Japanese Kit Kat bars. I picked a list that I could find

easily and currently on sale on the Internet. There’s lots

more, but I could only pick 8! Enjoy!

Christmas Cookie Poll

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010

cookie poll

Christmas week is here!

All the food and goodies that we celebrate

with are all delicious and tempting.

Cookies seem to be a real classic and

something to cherish. I think I’m a bit

surprised by the winner, but I also

know that when I left my mom’s house a

few days ago, she was just getting ready to

make a batch of the poll winners! Just a coincidence though, but

I’ll be sure and let her know. So you know too, here are

the results. Enjoy!

Poll Results: Playground Equipment

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

Hello everyone!Poll results are in.

Playgrounds haven’t gone out of style, but they do seem to

be getting fancier, with the “rock climbing wall” and all.

They are still great places to be. At my grade school, one

of the funnest places was a big hill that had huge erosion

gullies. They were so big, you had to leap over the cracks,

you couldn’t just step over them. It was so popular, all of

the grass was completely worn away. My vote goes to dirt,

but that’s not the winner.

News: Toys for Tots fundraiser December 20, 2010

Thursday, December 9th, 2010

This December 20th there is a fundraiser and toy drop off  for Toys for Tots at Crestwood Court, in the St. Louis, Missouri area. It will be located on the east end of the mall, close to the movie theater and the post office.  A local radio station will be there, as well as food tasting.

Crestwood Court, (Crestwood Mall) is located on the corner of  Watson Road and Sappington. There is plenty of parking, ground level and in the garage. This mall is unique because much of the space is now “Art Space” and is occupied by artist, dance groups, theaters and small, family owned stores that you won’t find anywhere else.
