According to other websites, 36% of pizzas have pepperoni, 62% of pizzas have meat (in America), thick crust is the most popular, AND, people eat on average 46 slices of pizza a year. Well, I think at my house, the 46 is too low, but meat or not is 50/50 . (Some of us are vegetarian)

The poll for Monopoly game pieces started on September 29th is over.

It seems this is a real American classic, I don’t think there is anyone

here that hasn’t heard of the game, and very few who haven’t played it.

The new poll starting October 6, 2010 is in honor of National Pizza

month.  Here’s one thing I learned, slightly over one third of Americans want pepperoni on their pizza.

The new poll is posted, Favorite Monopoly piece. We’ve picked the classics to choose from.  You might remember some different ones, like the money bag or the wheelbarrow, but since  I only have 8 spaces,  I picked the ones that appeared for the longest. You might notice the money bag or wheelbarrow missing.Our set as kids didn’t have the money bag, but we did have the wheelbarrow.

Time for this week’s poll results.  Most everyone encounters stoplight, but have you stopped to think much about them? Like at Christmas time, they use traditional Christmas colors? Or your favorite color? And is that your favorite stoplight color because of what it does or means, or because of the color itself? And how did those colors get picked in the first place?

the St. Louis, Mo. area convention the first weekend in October.

It also shows that “vintage” isn’t really what people

are looking for .   One thing about our polls, the

choices are quite limited, maybe one day we will

be able to have a write in style. This week’s new

it this week, I hadn’t actually realized how much polls

have infiltrated our lives. All in all, I think they can

be fun, IF you get to hear the results. I can’t speak

for them all, but I took the poll at the mall once,

many years ago. It was about potato chips. I disappointed

the pollster, she kept repeating the questions

when she didn’t get the answer she expected. I never heard

the results either. I don’t think the product ended up

This week’s poll. I first read Manga….

When I was a kid, I never saw mang around, I

don’t know if there was any in the midwest. We

had the basic Anime, like Speed Racer, but that’s

all. I don’t remember knowing it was Japanese.

It’s different here at Anime Tadius for the younger

of us. With Cable TV, there were Anime shows they

could watch, videogames to play and Manga to read,

even at our library. We were at several large book stores

this week and they had an entire section FULL of manga.

Here’s the Poll results for August 17th. Look’s like most of

our viewers have grown up with Anime.  I had expected that more

people had discovered Anime years ago, and although that wasn’t

the top answer, it did come in second. Some people have

told me, and this includes me, that at the time, they didn’t

know that’s what it was called.  In my generation, where

I lived, it was Speed Racer on TV.  My kids had Ghibli

videos and Cartoon Network Series, like Naruto. It’s been

amazing to see how this all has expanded, even into

the world of conventions. The new poll is about Manga.  I

It’s Wednesday again, time for a new poll and last

poll’s results. This weeks’s poll is all about anime.

We are curious how long people have been into

Anime.  My first was Speed Racer on Sunday mornings

when I was a kid.  Back then, I didn’t know it was

Anime.  My kids started with Totoro, a gift from

their Grandma. Who would have ever thought it would

develop into such a big part of our life.

Thanks again for participating in our Poll. July was

National Ice Cream month, so we asked what people’s

favorite flavor is.  Unfortunately  we can only fit 8

choices into the poll.  It sure was dificult to narrow

down choices. In searching out other ice cream polls,

Vanilla is either the top by a great margin, and in others

it’s in the top 3.  For us, I ‘m sorry to say, it’s on the

bottom, tied with people who voted that they don’t like

ice cream. I’d like to think this means our readers

Why do I say complex?  No, it’s not really, except different situations require different  condiments.  Very few people seem to be passionate about one particular condiment. Although, there are places that have festivals dedicated to one condiment, Horseradish comes to mind.
