Funny how coincidences seem to stack up. In addition to being written by the same author as Chibi Vampire, Aion, like Chibi Vampire, came with a name change. For those of you who didn’t (or even did) know Chibi Vampire was released in Japan with the Japanese title that translates to Karin; Aion‘s title in Japan translates to the Blue Sea of Aion. A bit closer, but still not the same. What does this have to do with the story? Nothing, except if see it by another name, Hekikai no Aion, you’ll know its the same thing.

Would you be willing to live in the poorest, most dangerous section of town, worrying every day if you can scrape together enough cash, checking coin returns to see if someone forgot a nickle if instead there was a chance to live in luxury, never needing to worry about how much something costs, but under someone else’s rules? For Haruhiko, it is worth that much.
